I’m seriously enamored by an All Black wardrobe. First of all, black is always timeless and makes you appear somewhat aloof.
Black is modest and arrogant at the same time. But above all black says this: “I don’t bother you – don’t bother me”– Yohji Yamamoto
I’m slowly deleting many times in my wardrobe.
My current rule is: 3 items off, 1 item on. Thus, each time I remove (and donate) an item, I’m allowed to purchase or obtain another.
There’s a secondary rule, which is: The item must be black OR grey.
This challenge in itself is complicated, yet very minimalistic. A pushing of boundaries, yet having great discipline to stick to a monotone rule.
As a woman transiting from her early 20s to late 20s, the wardrobe change is rather vast. In fact, it’s daunting yet exciting at the same time.
Do you like the concept for a monotone wardrobe?
